TASK
A landmark that should shine
Potsdamer Platz is one of Berlin's most visited places. It needed a festive staging to do justice to its significance – and to amaze guests.
- 02
SOLUTION
Three photo points, a light experience
Two tree gates (11 × 8 m) and a 12 m high cone structure frame the pedestrian zone. For the first time, we combined 200 m of contour light with smart LEDs and string lites.
- 03
RESULT
A stage of light
48 animated smart LEDs stretch across the zone and create a nearly three-minute light show every 15 minutes. 1,600 string lite bulbs complete the harmonious picture.
Impact in numbers
Potsdamer Platz in numbers: three photo points, 200 m of light and a show that brings people together – holiday lighting with impact.
