TASK
How does a transition place become a place of welcome?
Staffanstorp's people commute daily to neighboring cities. The municipality's roundabouts remained unused – places to pass through, not to linger.
- 02
SOLUTION
A concept that combines rhythm, diversity, and playfulness.
MK Illumination Sweden placed the most iconic symbol of the festival at the center – the egg. A roundabout became a giant bird's nest, with Organic Eggs adding vibrant accents on the ground, in trees, and on masts.
- 03
RESULT
A festive gesture that resonates – with everyone who passes by.
Through the interplay of materials, sizes, and colors – complemented by new resin eggs with yellow stripes – a scene full of joy of life was created. The Easter festival became visible, tangible, and experiential.
Impact in numbers
A seasonal concept that creates identity and welcomes a commuting community – with a clear design signature.
