TASK
A historical place that should shine anew.
The Wandelhalle is one of Hamburg’s most popular shopping spots—thousands pass through daily. The task: a lighting concept that combines architecture, frequency, and identity.

SOLUTION
A tree of light—as a pulsating center.
At the center stands an 11-meter-high Giant Tree made of i-String Lite with 18,000 light points. Dual String Lite in warm white and white over two floors and RGB spots in the ceiling area emphasize the historical building.

RESULT
When light and sound merge.
Every 20 minutes, the Giant Tree delights with a sound-to-light show to "Let It Snow." In between, 13 international hits—from Ariana Grande to Kelly Clarkson—provide musical variety and atmospheric idle animations.
